Since 2005

Since 2005 we have performed thousands of home and building inspections on Long Island. From the foundation to the roof, and all the major systems in between.

Hands-On Background

Our inspectors have hands-on background in construction that cannot be underestimated when it comes to home inspection. This is the cornerstone of Meticulous Home Inspection.

Licensed and Insured

Home inspectors are required to be licensed through New York State, and are required by the New York State Department of State to be insured with a General Liability policy.

Trust the inspection company that will provide a clear picture of the status

of your new place of residence.

Hands-on background cannot be understated when it comes to inspection.

Does your inspector know electrical, plumbing, foundation repair, flooring, framing, and window and door installation practices? Did you know you can hire a person who has been a florist or a salesman or an office worker all their life, and now has a home inspection license?

All home inspectors In New York State are required to be licensed, but are not required to have background in construction. Why would you choose someone without it? Did you think to ask?

The president of Meticulous Home Inspection Corp. does, and it is what makes us stand out from the crowd.  Our New York State license number is 16000008857.

Book Service

METICULOUS HOME INSPECTION GIVES YOU A REPORT THAT IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND.

Meticulous Home Inspection Corp. takes plenty of time inspecting all the major systems of the house – inside and out. We have heard stories of home inspectors who spend a mere 45 minutes inspecting a home. In contrast, Meticulous Home Inspection take two to three hours, and sometimes more!  We bring a separate wood-destroying-insect inspector who treats homes and businesses daily for termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, and powder post beetles.

There are some Long Island home inspectors that advertise “free termite inspection” with their home inspections, but without an Applicator’s license, home inspectors cannot apply pesticides, treat for carpenter ants, nor install bait stations. We bring a full service termite contractor that can actually treat your Long Island home for these and other wood destroying insects after the inspector/inspectors finish their job.

WE RECEIVE NO COMPENSATION FROM REAL ESTATE AGENTS, REAL ESTATE ATTORNEYS, MORTGAGE PROFESSIONALS OR ANY ONE ELSE INVOLVED IN THE TRANSACTION.

We work only for you, the client. Our inspection report is only provided to you and we do not offer it to anyone else without your expressed permission. Reputation in this business means everything, and in our case, our reputation as one of the best Long Island home inspectors speaks for itself.

We do not use a generic check-list report. Our inspection reports are written in full narrative form, and we include digital photos of key areas of the inspection.  After the inspection ends, we are always available for consultation regarding any questions or concerns you may have on your new home.

That means you can call us next day, next month, or next year. We welcome calls from any of our past clients if you have a question - even if you are planning a renovation and need some advice, or have a repair or update from a contractor that you doubt.
